This exhibition is worth seeing. It highlighted for me not to take water for granted but also how it is being used as currency.
This exhibition highlights Opulence, Elegance, Family, Skill and Creativity.
A stand out for me was the ‘Panthère’

Bringing together works by Alberto Giacometti and three contemporary artists. Huma Bhabha (May 2025), Mona Hatoum (September 2025) and Lynda Benglis (February 2026). They explore themes and concerns shared by Giacometti.
An excellent way of bringing skills from the past into the future.
This is the time to take in as much of the arts and culture offerings out there. No excuses, schools closed and holidays have begun.
Flowers at the Saatchi Gallery is a must-see exhibition and definitely no prep required.
Immersive, inclusive, a feast for your eyes and genuinely something for everyone. Two floors, 9 gallery spaces with installations, art, photography, fashion and much more. A real feast for your eyes.
‘This exhibition is the result of support and effort of many people and organisations’ with the lists of roles and names included on a display panel the Saatchi Gallery highlighted the talent and skills it takes to create something so beautiful.
Don’t forget also to visit the ‘Learning Gallery’
On a dark and rainy Saturday I decided to visit the ‘The William Morris Gallery’ in Walthamstow. It was the perfect decision.
The stalls selling local produce outside, the buzz in the gallery with families visiting was inspiring. The two exhibitions on display, are wonderful, and I really recommend visiting both the website and visiting the gallery. For the first time I really felt a gallery working with the community and providing exhibitions offering something for everyone.
Well done to the team at the William Morris Gallery.
An interactive game in the William Morris Gallery Collection. I thought this was a real example of bringing history into the modern day.
Looking back on my 2023 photos, I am reminded of a show which displayed amazing talent, opportunities to find inspiration and a hub to find a new skill.
The Knitting and Stitching show is a great example of art for all.
As we now move into Autumn, I have revisited these photos from an exhibition I saw at the Design Museum. Ai Weiwei: Making Sense. Food for thought.
Like a piece of music, art can provide inspiration and calm. A glimpse of my favourites, following a trip to the Royal Academy Summer Exhibition 2023.
