These sculptures have ignited a series of questions for me. What material have these been made from? How are they ageing? How heavy are they and who made them?

Mayfair Sculpture Trail, Blue & White infanta Margarita, Manolo Valdés
This piece of work made me smile. Its often how I feel.

As 2022 begins to blossom I am reminding myself of the amazing art that took my breadth away in 2021. For some reason I was not drawn to keeping this site up to date but following a recent visit to an exhibition I have regained my enthusiasm and inspiration. I will post my recent inspiration later in the week.

This display is so much more than you think. ‘First one’s the best’ by Celia Pym 2015 at the Tranquillity Exhibition at the Wellcome Collection.
Celia Pym is interested in memories held in our clothing and the therapeutic practical care of mending.
I am sure there are many stories to be told.

This ‘Draped Reclining Figure’ provided me with an opportunity to relax, look deeper and be surprised. I came across this last year when i visited the Henry Moore Studios and looking back at my photos was a lovely reminder to me of how powerful a craft can be.
With spring around the corner I thought I would remind myself of the inspirational cultural landscape I experienced in 2020 and prepare myself for more to come in 2021..Kimono Kyoto to Catwalk at the V&A in September 2020.

Escape: My first long cycle ride through London, a sunny day and a magical experience in Bermnodsey.
Two exhibits displayed in the Cerith Wyn Evans ‘No realm of thought… No field of vision’ exhibition held at the White Cube Bermondsey last month.
The tree summed up how I have been feeling during lockdown but the whole experience was my great escape. I planned my next cultural trip straight after.
An online exhibition well worth visiting.
It is a real pleasure scrolling through the images of his work.
