Vincent Van Gogh Pollard Willows at Sunset Arles March 1888. On display at Tate Britain 2019
I learnt a lot about Vincent Van Gogh in this exhibition at Tate Britain and left being reminded Not to Give up and follow your passion.
A really good summary of Van Gogh’s experience in London and the impact of Van Gogh’s art and life on British artists up to the 1950s

I visited ‘The American Dream ‘pop to the present at the weekend and I am so sorry this exhibition has now closed. I would have gone earlier and shouted from the rooftops for people to see it. This exhibition included works by American artists; Andy Warhol, Jasper Johns, Robert Rauschenberg and many more. The design and content of the show was truly inspiring, providing an insight into the production of the works alongside the art and in a space, which enabled visitors to contemplate and enjoy the experience fully.
A really good British Museum moment.

Its funny but something made me stop and take a photo of this group of bicycles. They appeared to have personalities but this bicycle with its basket made me sad. Stories to tell I’m sure.
Cycle Revolution at the Design Museum
A great day in Leicester Square. An amazing show at the National Portrait Gallery. I have to admit I am a Giacometti fan but this show provided me with an insight into his art, life and loves. Not having to queue to read a label or move round in crowds was pure pleasure. A great coffee in the café in the basement was then the perfect end.
Although a little crowded the AI Weiwei exhibition at the Royal Academy of Arts gave me food for thought. A lot more than I expected.
A beautiful shirt dress by Ossie Clark (London 1969 -74) and on display at the Brighton Museum and Art Gallery. So much inspiration out there.
Feeling good at Ally Pally.
