At any stage of your life/career you can take stock, look for inspiration, get some building blocks, take some risks and start again.
My blog is just that.
Don’t give up, dont be put off and don’t take no for an answer.
Finding inspiration should be on the school curriculum., because when you need some help there is always something out there which will provide the spark. A visit to an exhibition and or a trip to the roof garden is on my list.

Breathing in as I enjoy the work of Sara Ingleby Mackenzie’s .A great welcome at Store Street Gallery http://www.slimsculpture.co.uk/Sara-Ingleby-Mackenzie.php

A return visit to the Wellcome Collection and an unusual experience in a mist filled room ‘yellowbluepink’ by Ann Veronica Janssens and a beautiful find by Susie Freeman & Liz Lee, ‘Pharmacopoeia – Come Dancing’.Fashion & Culture.http://wellcomecollection.org/whats-on/exhibitions/all-exhibitions
A real surprise on the Euston Road at the Wellcome Collection . The start of a great visit.
‘Closing Neural Tube Dress’ Red fake fur Helen and Kate Storey, 2014 (after the 1997 original)

A James Bond film treat first and an introduction to the Day of the Dead in Mexico. An amazing array of experiences at the British Museum and Family Festival ‘Days of the Dead’ and finally a rather unusual but interesting film moment watching ‘the Book of Life’.
Brand positioning, a thought provoking experience and very different to my usual cultural hit.

What’s fun is finding the unexpected and in unusual places. I have only begun the trail of the London Design Festival but The Norfolk House Music Room at the V&A and The ‘Curiosity Cloud’ by an Austrian duo Mischer’ traxler.happened to be my first stop. There is lots about this experience that has made me investigate their work further. The creation of the different glass bulbs, the amazing fluttering of the mechanical butterflies inside, a sound and visual extravaganza! Feeling good and finding out more.
A really good meeting place on a beautiful sunny day + a hint of inspiration with Irma Irsara Pulps exhibition. A real boost and a definite return visit to PULPS in Highgate needed.
