This ‘Draped Reclining Figure’ provided me with an opportunity to relax, look deeper and be surprised. I came across this last year when i visited the Henry Moore Studios and looking back at my photos was a lovely reminder to me of how powerful a craft can be.
With spring around the corner I thought I would remind myself of the inspirational cultural landscape I experienced in 2020 and prepare myself for more to come in 2021..Kimono Kyoto to Catwalk at the V&A in September 2020.

As I was looking out at the sunshine today I was reminded of a wonderful piece of work by Ian Berry . I saw his work at the London Art Fair in January and was surprised to find his art pieces were made with Denim. What a nice surprise.

Its great when an artwork portrays how you feel. The weather is really cold today and finding this piece By Antony Gormley at Tate Britain said exactly how I feel.The language of art is wonderful.

Time has passed since the London Design Festival in September but its time for me to revisit my image prompts and remind myself of the talent and inspiration available out there. I recommend collecting information or images, like collecting ingredients for your favourite meal. Always have them available for that moment when you need that pick me up.
This piece caught my eye at the V&A because of its colour, exactness and that element of fun. A beautiful piece in a rather austere environment and perfect as part of the Festival.
Finding inspiration should be on the school curriculum., because when you need some help there is always something out there which will provide the spark. A visit to an exhibition and or a trip to the roof garden is on my list.
