This exhibition highlights Opulence, Elegance, Family, Skill and Creativity.
A stand out for me was the ‘Panthère’
A symbol of power and elegance.

As 2022 begins to blossom I am reminding myself of the amazing art that took my breadth away in 2021. For some reason I was not drawn to keeping this site up to date but following a recent visit to an exhibition I have regained my enthusiasm and inspiration. I will post my recent inspiration later in the week.

This display is so much more than you think. ‘First one’s the best’ by Celia Pym 2015 at the Tranquillity Exhibition at the Wellcome Collection.
Celia Pym is interested in memories held in our clothing and the therapeutic practical care of mending.
I am sure there are many stories to be told.
Hollywood Roosevelt by Ian Berry
As I was looking out at the sunshine today I was reminded of a wonderful piece of work by Ian Berry . I saw his work at the London Art Fair in January and was surprised to find his art pieces were made with Denim. What a nice surprise.
Looking for inspiration today as the sunshine has disappeared. I knew I would find that Light Bulb moment if I looked through my photos from past visits.
Yes and here it is.

This exhibition was a joy. It felt like a cruise in a world of beauty. Some exhibitions are thought provoking, some shocking but this one was pure pleasure. If you ever need a pick me up, its always worth scanning the cultural sector, there will always be something there for you.

A clay model for the Ferrari J50, 2015. at the Design Museum Ferrari under the skin exhibition. Just ten of these cars were built to celebrate Ferrari’s first 50 years in Japan. One half of this model has been finished and painted. The other half is bare clay showing the stages of the modeling process.
A quick trip out for inspiration and the Design Museum was my choice this weekend and ‘Ferrari Under the Skin’ is what drew me.
It was wonderful.,extremely informative, very beautiful and full to the brim with facts and displays which were breadth taking.
But it was this particular exhibit which appealed to me the most. It highlighted both design and craft skills in a very high end and powerful industry.
Well it inspired me to post this, to stop procrastinating and to move forward with some creative ideas.
Nothing better than sitting having a coffee with a good friend but even better when he puts pen to paper

Whenever I need some inspiration and today was one of those days, I search for a creative wonderland and aim for that. Today it was the Tate Modern that I went to and a free exhibition entitled ‘Between Object And Architecture’ was where I found myself. This piece by Cristina Iglesias ‘Pavilion Suspended in a Roon/2005’ drew my attention and created a space and food for thought.
