My trip to Piccadilly was really worthwhile. I am always on the look out for a piece of work and or display, which makes me stop, makes me look and makes me look again. The journeys of creation and seeing skill and craftsmanship are always inspiring.

These spaces enable clarity and as I do dislike clutter these galleries are ideal for me. An opportunity to enjoy the work, to think and to rethink.

Its funny, you need a little confidence to take a step into some of the smaller galleries, particularly when the doors are closed. ‘Illustrationcupboard Gallery’ just felt inviting and I do like galleries that invite you in with interesting and unusual work. This gallery did just that.
Illustrations that made me smile, froan and think in a space that felt right. Its worth popping in and another one on my list to keep an eye on.
As my own cultural and artistic landscape grows I am so inspired with the talent, skills and expertise around me. My inspiration charter and journey continues.

Blog 5 and I am loving the sunshine and warmth in November. I am not blogging my trip today as I wanted to share an image which was the start of my visit to the Fashion and Textile Museum and noted in blog 4. I believe the ‘black cobweb dress’ was by Iben Haj and it is beautiful and was a great beginning of a very interesting experience.
Fashion and Textile Museum London
A quick blog today, still lots to learn about how to blog, lots of questions and web searches but enjoying my journey so far. Another great day and trip to see ‘Knitwear Chanel to Westwood’ . I have been to this Museum before and really enjoyed it. Its small but always provides a show thats worth the visit. Lots more to see as I create my memory bank, recall blog and cultural landscape.
Blog 4 and I still have my blog L plates. A trip to Shoreditch, well at least nearby. Stolen Space with some really interesting surprises. I hesitated initially but was so pleased I opened the door and went in.

Blog 3 was to the Royal Academy to see ‘Anselm Kiefer’ . Although a hectic day I made sure I got to this show.
